About Transformation Visitation Home

What an exciting year 2024 turned into! Transformation Visitation Home saw major growth this past year and we end the year with anticipation for the future.
In June we officially opened up our second location in Independence with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Surrounded by members of the Independence Chamber of Commerce, our board and volunteers, Mayor Rory Rowland helped welcome us to Independence with an official proclamation.
We can also celebrate being awarded two grants that will go a long way to helping fulfill our mission of providing a secure and loving environment to promote rapid family reunification services for families with children in foster care! The Children’s Services Fund of Jackson County awarded TVH the $25,000 Capacity Building Grant in August and the Cultivation Grant in October that will supply $200,000 total for the years 2025 and 2026. We are beyond elated for the opportunity to grow our non-profit thanks to these funds over the course of the next two years.
In 2024, we saw over 300 parent-child supervised visits in a secure, private setting at our two locations. We also conducted three separate parent education sessions. To stay updated, visit our Facebook (facebook.com/transformationvisitationhome) or Instagram page (@tvhkcmo).
We celebrate all that 2024 brought, and we look forward to 2025 and beyond!
